Westpac 200 years
To mark the 200th anniversary of Westpac, Australia’s first bank, we were tasked with revamping several websites to celebrate the milestone. The first was a hub to bring a series of initiatives together, and the other a website for the Westpac Bicentennial Foundation.
A simply executed site which aims to feature all the initiatives Westpac are running in 2017, their bicentennial year. Each initiative and program have their own page, highlighting their aims and goals, and briefly giving an overview of the sites that follow. I was involved in the client briefings and liaisons, wireframe and prototype, and visual design.
The Westpac Bicentennial Foundation had an existing site, and after several years of the program there was a need to accommodate a large number of scholar details, tell stories of their research, and attract new applicants.
I facilitated research to understand how the current site was being used, how scholars were getting around the site’s shortcomings and potential features of the site which might be useful in the future.
Once there was enough data I then synthesised it into a brief for another UX design to create wireframes and then take it into visual design.
