Home Timber and Hardware wanted Australian tradies to engage with the brand by sending in a photo of their work-roughened hands for a chance to win a ute. The competition site needed to be easily used by tradies who may not be too tech savvy. As usual our approach was mobile first, especially considering tradies are always on the go.
The competition is now closed, and the website offline.
Wireframes and user testing
I created interactive wireframes in Axure and did user testing on both mobile and desktop. The aim was to keep the key visual and competition information visible on first load, with the form and other competition information below the fold.
